Medium: Wacom tablet and Photoshop

This was inspired by Ricarda Huch’s poem Wiegenlied aus dem Dreißigjährigen Krieg, a ballad about the Thirty Year War that ravaged the German-speaking duchies and countries from 1618 to 1648. During that time, many towns and villages were destroyed and at least a quarter of the German population was killed.
